The Sick Gentleman?

while that may be popular opinion, and the internet had a big hand to play in the entire Jessica Lall case, i quite agree with some of the statements he made about the media in this interview...

until next time, hey ram!!

sometimes the Devil deserves to be left alone to defend himself for his deeds.

sometimes you dont need to sovehemently and vocally fend off the very people you have a problem with

The press will voice the public's opinon for sure ........and let The lawyer be upset with them....he should take his own advice and mind his own business....

defend the guy and stop whining about what he doesnt like to hear.

None is indefensible.
everybody deserves to give his side of the story, no matter how many people feel that what he is saying is false or unpleasant

Agreed, everyone deserves right to tell his/her side of story, but the way he shouted at poor reporter was really really disappointing, he could have said all that in a polite manner!!

To me, his such behaviour is part of his strategy to defend his client, he is simply distracting everyone, and pointing fingers at everyone else concerned in the case including the deceased!!

U can entirely empathise with the lawyer's frustration. What we see is a very rude interview.. but one generally fails to take into account that .. that might not have been the first interview of the day :) or the only one.

i have lost all respect for Ram Jethmalani. His arguments in the jessica lal case and absurd and are a clear sign of him going soft in the head. it saddens me that justice might again be denied to Jessica's family due to this man.

I'm with arunima. Raj J hai hai!

grafxgurl: wonder who asked for the interview- the media or the lawyer.. and the media did get personal by saying the lawyer's family didnt agree with his decisions..

raghav: and like the bollywood line goes 'kanoon saboot mangta hai'

stone: like i said, depends on who called for the interview.. and in a way, he's just doing his job..

prero: :)

isha: and it was not lamb to slaughter mode either, she could've hit back, maybe this was part of a plan too

arunima: kis pe?

cherie: i keep wondering about that.. were they the intended last words? or was he calling nathuram?

aqua: maybe he's just doing his job as a lawyer.. consider this, black friday, the film (which is also a medium) wasnt allowed to be released because the judiciary felt it would bias the final judgements.. whats television as a medium doing in this case?..the law system is so corrupt that there is no one willing to testify.. that should be plugged first.. and hanging a man on the basis of circumstantial evidence is not a start, even if the whole world thinks he is guilty... like he said, if you have proof , bring it, and make sure the guilty are punished.. but dont air stuff that creates a bias...

Isnt this the lady otherwise known as Mrs Sardesai? I dont think she can be browbeaten- so no "poor thing!".
I am not personally think much of this stand Mr Jethmalani has taken. But I do not care much for voting by media either. That man has a right to a trial of some sort.
